Hi!
I am a third grade teacher in Houston, TX. I am married to my wonderful husband, Jeff. We recently added a new addition to our family, Connor, and we are just over the moon! We also have our fur baby, Max!
I graduated from Texas State University with my Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I was a member of the amazing Teacher Fellow's Program at Texas State that laid a wonderful foundation for my teaching career. I just finished my sixth year teaching third grade and I absolutely love it. I can't imagine doing anything more gratifying with my life.
Teaching is the best job in the world. It's not the easiest, but it's the best. Thanks to all of you fellow teachers who dedicate your time to changing lives!
Glad I found you on Texas Teacher Round-up Link up. I also teach 3rd grade and live in Houston, Texas. I taught 2nd grade for 8 years and moved up to 3rd grade last year. Wow what a change! It was a challenging and rewarding year. I'm looking forward to reading your blog.
